PROACTIVELY MANAGING A RETURN FROM PARENTAL LEAVE

The client was a new parent returning to work after the arrival of her first child. Charlotte helped her  to achieve balance between the demanding aspects of her professional life and her new personal responsibility. The coaching programme supported the client to reassess her priorities, and explore her freshly revised values. As a result she reviewed her professional boundaries and was able to proactively negotiate with her employer as she successfully combined her work and parenting roles.

SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITIONING INTO A NEW ROLE

The client had received a significant promotion and wanted to optimise his impact in his first 90 days. Charlotte provided valuable insight into different leadership styles and management techniques, and through systemic mapping helped him understand his organisation’s complicated internal structure, and its political dynamics. As a result the client felt more able to embrace the challenge ahead, effectively delegate responsibility and exhibit confidence in his execution. The coaching programme also offered the client an expert sounding board, and a safe and confidential space to sense-check his strategy.

OVERCOMING 'Imposter syndrome'

The client had achieved a meteoric rise in her corporation, was exceptionally capable and well-respected by her colleagues. However she suffered from anxiety and self-doubt, and did not really believe her success was 'deserved'. Charlotte used psychometrics to increase the client’s awareness and acceptance of her own talent and abilities, and by providing robust challenge, helped the client to develop her resilience and improve her self-esteem.

OPTIMISING A CAREER CHANGE

The client was facing an imminent career change and felt both overwhelmed and unmotivated. Through constructive challenge, Charlotte helped him to transform his hesitancy into a more proactive attitude, and inspired him to establish key goals to enhance his leadership style and empathy skills. The coaching programme re-energised the client, generating renewed personal engagement and helping him to embrace his exciting learning opportunity.
